EASY FROZEN LEMONADE RECIPE

The weather in London has been so hot, I feel like I am going to melt hot and it has been so lovely. One thing you need in this heat, is a nice cold refreshing lemonade (you know it). I came across this recipe online for a frozen alcoholic lemonade and it looked so good. I modified it slightly and it came out really good. Me and my family have had it nearly everyday last week because it's so tasty and so good in this heat.

Ingredients:

3 cups of ice 

3 lemons 

half a cup of lemon juice 

half a cup of water 

a cup of caster sugar

It's really simple to make, all you have to do it slice the lemons. Once you have sliced them put them in a bowl with the caster sugar and mashed down together. Add the lemon juice and water and let it sit for 5 minutes. Then put the ice and the lemon mix into the blender and blend. Don't blend it for too long, cos you want it to have a thick slushy texture, I would say for about 4-5 minutes and you are done.

Today was my last day at work, I am so excited for the holidays and much needed rest and loads of lemonade slushies in the garden. Let me know if you try out this drink out.
