Hi guys
I am a bit of a eyebrow noob, and I didn't really start filling in my brows until quite recently ( I know). My natural eyebrows are already quite ''big'' and have an ok shape, so I didn't have to bother with fixing my eyebrows except the odd plucking of the wild stray. However over the last couple of months, I have step up my eyebrow game I have to admit I am not the best but I am getting there ( practice makes perfect). I have been testing a couple of drugstore eyebrow products and there are some gems to be found at the drugstore.
One of my favourite eyebrow products I have stumbled across, I am currently obsessed with this Revlon pencil. It's so easy to use, the consistency of the pencil is just right, it's not too hard or too creamy. The colour is absolutely perfect for me, there is no reddish undertone which doesn't work well for people with darker hair. It also comes with a tinted gel, which is great for setting your brows and taming your eyebrows.
I really like this pencil, it's really easy to use and great for creating a natural look. The consistency of this pencil is more on the creamy side, which makes it perfect for creating light strokes which look very very natural. The only negative is that it doesn't last well throughout the day, I find that towards the end of the day my brows have disappeared.
This pencil is very dark, so if you are looking for a dark colour I suggest you check out this pencil. I don't really like the consistency of this pencil because it is more on the hard side and I find it a little bit more difficult to use. However the fact that it's harder means that you are able to create more dramatic brows for days you want that Cara D look.
This pencil is really nice, the consistency of this nice and the lasting powder is good. However the colour is not so great especially if you have really dark hair. I think this is the darkest colour in the range ( don't hold me to that) so I wouldn't recommend it for dark hair girls but for girls with lighter hair this is a really good pencil and it's really affordable. It also comes with a brush on the other end which is really convenient.
I find using a powder lot more easier to fill in my brows, as I find that it gives me more control in creating my eyebrows. I love this eyebrows kit, it's crazy affordable (£3.99) and the quality of the shadows are amazing. There is 3 shadows and one wax to set your brows. I don't really like the wax but the shadows are really nice. I like to mix 2 of the shadows to create a colour which perfect for me. I have heard people compare this kit to the HD Brows kit, so you know it's really good.
I would definitely try out the GOSH Brow Kit - it contains 3 brow colours and a clear waxy stuff to hold them in place. Also Maybelline Brow Drama which is a brow mascara basically - looks very natural and not OTT. Sometimes I use it over the powder for a more defined look xx
