Products I've Used Up

I rarely get through beauty products, because I am constantly trying out new products and it doesn't help that I am easily swayed by shiny new products. But I have gotten through some products, and I have officially finished my first lipstick (whoop whoop), I never finish lipsticks !

Soap & Glory Foam Call Body Wash:
It actually took me a while to get through this body wash, I don't know why but I forgot to use it. I liked, it lathered up really really well actually and it left my skin soft and clean (duh). What else can I say? This isn't favourite scent from Soap & Glory, I am love with the sugar crush scent (so good). Nevertheless a lot of people love this scent, for me I think it's just a little strong. I would repurchase but I don't feel a urgent need to pick it up again.

La Roche Posay Seronzinc:
I was so excited to try out this product, I had really high hopes for it because it's been hyped up in the beauty blogging world. I just didn't notice any difference in my skin when I used this product, maybe I was using it wrong (nah I don't think so). I was hopping that it would work on my blemishes because it's zinc based but it didn't do anything for them. I wouldn't repurchase this product, which is such a shame because I really wanted it to work for me but it felt nice on the skin very refreshing.

Origins Make A Difference Plus Rejuvenating Moisturiser:
This was a nice moisturiser, I found that it really helped with keeping my skin hydrated. I love the consistency of this moisturiser, it's really light and it absorbs super fast into the skin. So if you are looking for something that is really lightweight but still moisture and hydrates the skin, then I would totally recommend this moisturiser. Also it smells amazing.

La Roche Posay Toleriane Ultra Intense Soothing Care for Face and Eyes:
I love this stuff, it worked so well with my skin. A lot of moisturisers don't work well with super sensitive skin but this was amazing. It kept my skin moisturised, hydrated and super soft. I used it at night and in the mornings, it absorbed into the skin really quickly so you can just use your makeup straight away and it created a nice sort of dewy base which I really liked. I am definitely going to repurchase this, in fact I have already.

Passion For Natural Rejuvenating Body Scrub*:
I love a good body scrub. What I really liked about this body scrub was that there was no oils, don't get me wrong I love oil based scrubs but sometimes I just find them a little messy. This body scrub was more like a body lotion based scrub and it worked so well. Super easy to use and wash off (lazy girl approved). It left my skin super soft and smooth. Passion for natural as the name would suggest is a brand that uses natural and organic products and this body scrub consisted of 100% organic aloe vera and natural walnut shells for the scrub particles. I found that the walnut shells, do a great job at exfoliating the skin without it been too harsh it was a nice in between because you can feel it actually work (you know with some gentle body scrubs, they are just too gentle). Plus it smelt really good and the scent lingers on your body. I would totally repurchase this scrub.

I am trying really hard to use up more products before I purchase new ones (which is proving to be difficult) and doing empties posts it sort of motivates me to use them up. Let me know what products you have used up lately.

  2. I need to try the moisturiser from Origins. I have combination skin, so I need something that will provide hydration, but also not feel heavy on the skin. This sounds great, I`ll definitely check it out.

  4. I'm the same way... always looking for something new! But, with my sensitive skin, I try not to experiment too much. lol. I'll have to give the Orgins moisturizer a look. (:

  5. Oh I know how you feel ! I always buy new products before even having used the old ones up. I will also try to do better :P I have been considering the La Roche Posay moisturizer for a while and now you have convinced me, so in a few days when my current moisturizer is empty I will do it! :)
